We’re the producers of “ArtFest,” a new concept in the presentation and marketing of art shows and art competitions across the United States. It’s our belief that art serves a vital role in the daily life of all Americans, providing beauty, joy, wonder, and countless opportunities to appreciate the great diversity of our country.

At Spirit Media, we believe art doesn’t belong only to museums; it’s a part of our daily lives, a celebration of expression and a reminder of our shared appreciation for the finer things. And it’s everywhere—from graffiti to tattoos to large-scale installations.

Meet the Team

Alice Collier Duke

Founder & CEO

Alice Collier Duke brings 20 years of expertise in marketing, media, digital sales and philanthropy to her work with Spirit Media.

Alice’s vision transcends outdated thinking around new vs. old media, while embracing outside-the-box problem solving. In the early days of the Affordable Care Act, she created a live, primetime, 60-minute television broadcast fully integrated with social media. Against all odds, she brought 3 competing health care firms – including their C-Suite executives, Communications and Social Media teams, and physicians – on board. The broadcast went swimmingly, so well the largest hospital system in the country hired her as a Community Relations expert.

As a young college graduate with little to no education in journalism, Alice went from reporting TV news for a tiny market in the Midwest, to anchoring news in a major American market in just 3 short, blazing years. Later, as an award-winning TV news anchor, she covered the political campaigns of three U.S. Presidents.

Organizations routinely tap her expertise for projects that connect to diverse populations. She is equally at home creating integrated marketing campaigns, as well as, a series of community gardens benefitting elderly residents. As a businesswoman of color, she recognizes the diverse cultural components and needs of each population she serves, and combines inclusivity with extensive media training, innovative strategy and organizational strength.

What does Alice love even more than Reese’s Cups? That’s easy – her grandson, the 3 young men who call her “mom,” Saturday Night Live, and a good hair day.

Marc Duke

Founder & CEO

As co-founder at Spirit Media, Marc Duke combines excellence in fine art with proven business acumen. Marc’s artwork has received more than 50 top awards at art fairs and festivals, including the Grand Prize – selected from over 10,000 entries – in the Armory Art Center/Norton Simon Museum international photography contest. He has participated in nearly all of the nation’s top art festivals, including exhibitions in New York City, Miami, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, Houston, and beyond.

Through an equally illustrious business career, Marc has founded and served as CEO for both Art-Linx, which was successfully sold in 2016, and Innopet Brands Corp., now a NASDAQ publicly traded company.

Marc’s depth of experience in the festival industry is reflected in his highly rated The Art Festival Handbook, the premier book on art festivals for artists and organizers, and the most recommended in the industry.

As a photographic artist, Marc began exploring the potential for art to effect change during the turbulent 1960s, while covering the Vietnam and Civil Rights movements as a photojournalist. Across continents, he has seen firsthand that communities with a deep involvement in the arts are healthier and more vibrant than those without.

Along with Alice Collier Duke, his co-founder at Spirit Media, Marc is creating new opportunities for participation, diversity, income and exposure, in order to broadly benefit artists and communities across the U.S.

Fluent in Chinese, Marc is also the author of two New York Times bestsellers, and serves on AD360, the Advisory Board of Architectural Digest.
